ARCADIA, Calif. (Jan. 15, 2016) – A trio of California-breds trained by Richard Baltas is entered in Monday’s $100,000 Grade III Megahertz Stakes for fillies and mares at Santa Anita.
Tiz a Kiss is by Cee’s Tizzy, out of the Seattle Bound mare Candy Factory, was bred by Dahlberg Farms and is owned by Cicero Farms. She has three wins in 15 starts, earnings of $231,396 and is coming off a win in a Nov. 27 optional claimer.
Chaulk O Lattey is by Silic, out of the Bertrando mare Business Model, was bred by Nadine Anderson and is owned by Brazeau Thoroughbreds Farms, Little Red Feather Racing or Anderson. She has four wins in 10 starts, earnings of $237,928 and is coming off a second in the Nov. 7 Kathryn Crosby.
Journey On is by Good Journey, out of the American Chance mare Miss Del Mar, was bred by Leatherman Racing and is owned by Robert Master. She has four wins in 18 starts, earnings of $226,678 and is coming off a second in the Dec. 13 Miss America Stakes.
