Bella Vita Takes on Gamine in Great Lady M

CYPRESS, Calif. (July 2, 2021) – Stakes winner Bella Vita is the lone California-bred entered in Monday’s $200,000 Grade II Great Lady M Stakes for fillies and mares at Los Alamitos.

Bella Vita is by Bayern, out of the Storm Cat mare Queenie Cat, was bred by Hill ‘n’ Dale Equine Holdings, is owned by Kaleem Shah and trained by Simon Callaghan.

She has two wins in eight starts, earnings of $181,790 and is coming off a second in a June 12 optional claimer.
