From BetAmerica
ARCADIA, Calif. (Jan. 28, 2015) – BetAmerica has agreed to be the presenting sponsor for the 2014 California Thoroughbred Breeders Association (CTBA) Annual Awards Dinner, to be held at the Westin at Pasadena on Monday, Feb. 9, 2015.
Every year the CTBA names California-bred champions in nine categories, including the prestigious Horse of the Year. As feted as Points Offthebench was last year, it’s expected that California Chrome will be named Champion Three-Year-Old and will be the frontrunner for Horse of the Year. Hall of Fame inductions, as well as Trainer of the Year, Leading Breeder and five categories of Leading Stallion awards will also be included in the night’s honors.
“2014 was the year we launched in California and, after a successful first year, we are delighted to be able to support this event which honors California breeders” said John Ford, CEO of BAM Software and Services, which powers BetAmerica.
“We are delighted to have BetAmerica as a sponsor of this premier event which should be extra special this year due to the crowning achievements of Cal-bred California Chrome,” said CTBA President, Doug Burge.
The agreement includes BetAmerica’s presence in and around the event and a special betting offer will be available to all CTBA Awards Dinner attendees.
