AUBURN, Wash. (Aug. 12, 2020) – California-breds Catfish Hunter and Take Charge Deputy are entered in Thursday’s $40,000 Mt. Ranier Stakes at Emerald Downs.
Catfish Hunter is by Grazen, out of the Unbridled’s Song mare Bluegrass Belle, was bred by Nick Alexander, is owned by Primo Posto Racing and is trained by Sharon Ross. He has three wins in 18 starts, earnings of $125,515 and is coming off a fifth in a July 15 optional claimer.
Take Charge Deputy is by Take Charge Indy, out of the Deputy Minister mare Promoted Deputy, was bred by Mercedes Stable, is owned by Rosales Racing F1 and trained by Jorge Rosales. He has eight wins in 22 starts, earnings of $74,653 and is coming off a July 15 optional claiming win.
