Cal-bred Pair in Pleasanton’s She’s a Tiger

PLEASANTON, Calif. (June 19, 2024) – California-breds Princesa Del Tigre and Bold Daughter are entered in Sunday’s $50,000 She’s a Tiger Stakes for fillies and mares at the Alameda County Fair.

Princesa Del Tigre is by Smiling Tiger, out of the Flame Thrower mare Corazon de Leo, was bred by Roberto Gonzalez, Wright Batlin, Marc Batlin & Kathleen Parnello, is owned by La Penita Racing Stable, Batlin, Marc, Batlin, Wright, Donsife, Rebecca and Parnello, Kathy and trained by Tim McCanna. She has four wins in 17 starts, earnings of $132,934 and is coming off a second in a May 4 optional claimer.

Bold Daughter is by Bold Chieftain, out of the Bertrando mare Pali Girl, was bred by Mike O’Farrell, is owned by Paul Lininger and trained by Roger Hansen. She has five wins in 25 starts, earnings of $97,411 and is coming off a fourth in a May 18 optional claimer.
