CYPRESS, Calif. (Dec. 9, 2015) – California-bred stakes winner Patriotic Diamond and Pacific Heat are entered in Saturday’s $300,000 Grade I Starlet Stakes for 2-year-old fillies at Los Alamitos.
Patriotic Diamond is by Hat Trick, out of the Whywhywhy mare Patriotic Diva, was bred by kin Hui Racing Stables, is owned by Diamond 100 Racing Club and is trained by Patrick Biancone. She has two win in four starts, earnings of $153,300 and is coming off a Nov. 26 optional claiming win.
Pacific Heat is by Unusual Heat, out of the Stormy Atlantic mare Hotlantic, was bred by Harris Farms & Donald Valpredo, is owned by Alesia, Burns or Ciaglia Racing, et al and is trained by Peter Eurton. She is unbeaten in two starts with earnings of $120,000 and is coming off a win in the Oct. 29 Golden State Juvenile Fillies Stakes.
