AUBURN, Wash. (Aug. 13, 2025) – California-breds Chatty Leroybrown and Heras Hope are entered in Sunday’s $50,000 Washington Oaks, presented by 1/st Bet, for 3-year-old fillies at Emerald Downs.
Chatty Leroybrown is by Big Bad Leroybrown, out of the Grazen mare Chatty Cathy, was bred by owner Hector Preciado and trained by Hilario Perez. She has one win in 13 starts, earnings of $19,520 and is coming off fifth in an Aug. 1 claimer.
Heras Hope is by Audible, out of the Speightstown mare Miss Lavinia, was bred by Richard Barton Enterprises, is owned by Kingswood Farms and trained by Justin Evans. She has one win in nine starts, earnings of $38,000 and is coming off a third in a July 26 claimer.
