SANTA ROSA, Calif. (July 24, 2014) — California-breds French Tart and Global Rule are entered in Saturday’s $50,000 Wine Country Stakes for 3-year-old fillies at Santa Rosa.
French Tart is by Decarchy, out of the Rio Lark mare Run Kaitlyn Run, was bred by owner Patricia Ford and is trained by William Delia. She has one win in 14 starts, earnings of $81,664 and is coming off a an eighth in the June 22 Betamerica.com Oaks.
Global Rule is by Globalize, out of the Tribal Rule mare Lighten Up Rule, was bred by owners Jerry Hollendorfer and George Todaro and is trained by Hollendorfer. She has one win in six starts, earnings of $51,884 and is coming off a third in the June 8 Campanile.
