SANTA ROSA, Calif. (July 28, 2016) – California-breds She’s My Cookie and Breakaway Dixie are entered in Saturday’s $50,000 Wine Country Stakes for 3-year-old fillies at Santa Rosa.
She’s My Cookie is by Olmodovar, out of the West by West mare Spirited, was bred by Milt Policzer & Diane Becker, is owned by John Wall Sr. or Patty Wall and is trained by William Delia. She has one win in six starts, earnings of $8,295 and is coming off a fifth in a May 28 starter’s allowance.
Breakaway Dixie is by Marino Marini, out of the Siberian Summer mare Grey Lassie, was bred by owners Randy Randazzo and Paul Conley and is trained by Ed Moger Jr. She has two wins in nine starts, earnings of $58,796 and is coming off a fourth in the June 18 Pleasanton Oaks.
