HOBBS, N.M. (Nov. 26, 2013) – California-breds Warren’s Venedalucy and Wine Thief are entered in Wednesday’s rescheduled $55,000 Zia Park Distaff Stakes for fillies and mares.
Warren’s Venedalucy is by Doc Gus, out of the Carson City mare State the Obvious, was bred by Benjamin Warren, is owned by Ace Racing Stable and trained by Justin Evans. She has four wins in 21 starts, earnings of $105,490 and is coming off a win in a Nov. 6 optional claimer.
Wine Thief is by Benchmark, out of the French Parliament mare Malbay Slew, was bred by Robert and Eileen Osaki and West 12 Ranch, is owned by SEJ Stables and is trained by Justin Evans. She has six wins in 22 starts, earnings of $117,035 and is coming off a consecutive wins in optional claimers.
