ARCADIA, Calif. (May 31, 2026) – Full California-bred sisters Quantum Innergy and Fibonacci’s Ride rallied from behind to finish 1-2 and a nexk apart in the fifth race at Santa Anita on Sunday, a $67,000 one-mile turf optional claimer for fillies and mares.
The pair are by Clubhouse Ride, out of the Wildcat Heir mare Wild Caroline and were bred by James Shenouda.
Quantum Innergy, sent off at 4-1, is a 5-year-old owned by Frank Reynoso Jr. and trained by Jeff Mullins. She has four wins in 25 starts and earnings of $246,442. Fibonacci’s Ride is a 4-year-old owned by Zephyr Racing and trained by Antonio Garcia. She has two wins in 11 starts and earnings of $96,000.
The pair also met in a Feb. 27 optional claimer, with Quantum Innergy second and Fibonacci’s Ride fourth.
