ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (Sept. 13, 2020) – A trio of California-breds are entered in Saturday’s $50,000 Manzano Stakes for 2-year-olds at Albuquerque.
Tripp a Matic is by Smiling Tiger, out of the Pentelicus mare Chanceofalifetime, was bred by Martin Bach, is owned by Stable HMA and is trained by Bart Hone. He has two wins in six starts, earnings of $21,016 and is coming off a fifth in the Aug. 26 Gold Rush Futurity at Arapahoe.
Colton’s Tiger is by Smiling Tiger, out of the Orientate mare Starsilhouette, was bred by Premier Thoroughbreds, is owned by Phil Lebherz, Alan Klein and Rusty Brown and is trained by J.R. Gonzalez. He is a maiden making his second start.
Lebron Jane is a filly by Dixie Chatter, out of the Corinthian mare Sunday Eve, was bred by Double Kee, is owned by Stable HMA and trained by Bart Hone. She is a maiden making her second start with earnings of $1,746.
