ARCADIA, Calif. (Dec. 22, 2014) – California-breds Avanti Bello, Notorious and Tomasino are entered in Saturday’s $75,000 Eddie Logan Stakes for 2-year-olds at Santa Anita.
Avanti Bello is by Include, out of the Mizzen Mast mare Masterful Lass, was bred by Lou Neve, is owned by Darin Tsukashima and trained by Doug O’Neill. He won his lone start Nov. 20 with earnings of $20,280.
Notorious is by McCann’s Mojave, out of the Ghazi mare Ghazi’s Lass, was bred by Steve Specht, is owned by Lauren Robson and is trained by Jerry Hollendorfer. He has one win in two starts, earnings of $33,850 and is coming off a Oct. 29 maiden win.
Tomasino is an also-eligible by Silic, out of the Houston mare Diamond Oak Diva, was bred by Nadine Anderson, is owned by Brazeau Thoroughbred Farms, Nadine Anderson and Penley Leonard and is trained by Robert Leonard. He has one win in three starts, earnings of $17,770 and is coming off a win in a Dec. 11 maiden claimer.
