Cal-bred Trio in Golden Gate Debutante

PLEASANTON, Calif. (Dec. 4, 2024) – California-breds Sunset Grazen, Hello Kid O Kid O and Big Soiree are entered in Saturday’s $75,000 Golden Gate Debutante Stakes for 2-year-old fillies at Pleasanton.

Sunset Grazen is by Grazen, out of the Slew’s Tiznow mare Sausalito Sunset, was bred by Legacy Ranch and is owned by trainer Samuel Calvario. She has one win in three starts, earnings of $16,680 and is coming off a Nov. 8 maiden claiming win.

Hello Kid O Kid O is by Danzing Candy, out of the Kitten’s Joy mare Norah’s Kitten, was bred by Richard James and Roberto Gonzalez, is owned by James and trained by Bill McLean. She is a maiden making her fourth start with earnings of $8,112.

Big Soiree is by Mr. Big, out of the Tapizar mare Silver Soiree, was bred by owner Paradox Stables and is trained by Jorge Bautista. She has two wins in four starts, earnings of $47,658 and is coming off a win in a Nov. 17 optional claimer.
