DEL MAR, Calif. (Sept. 2, 2021) – California-breds La Deuxieme Etoile, Distorted Diva and Dendera are among the entries in Sunday’s $100,000 Del Mar Juvenile Fillies Stakes for 2-year-old fillies.
La Deuxieme Etoile is by Nyquist, out of the Square Eddie mare Le Premiere Etoile, was bred by owner Reddam Racing and is trained by Doug O’Neill. She is a maiden making her third start with earnings of $21,710.
Distorted Diva is by Distorted Humor, out of the Scat Daddy mare Baby Bea Scattin, was bred by Terry Lovingier, is owned by Lovingier or Deweese and is trained by Walther Solis. She has one win in four starts, earnings of $70,216 and is coming off an Aug. 13 maiden win.
Dendera is by Shaman Ghost, out of the Scat Daddy mare Daddy’s Duo, was bred by Batchelor Family Trust, is owned by Batchelor Family Trust or Cicero Farms and is trained by John Sadler. She has one win in two starts, earnings of $43,400 and is coming off an Aug. 12 maiden win.
