Cal-bred Trio in Oak Tree Sprint

PLEASANTON, Calif. (June 30, 2014) – Stakes winners Ain’t No Other and Ourwestcoastghost and fellow California-bred Coach Bob are among the entries for Friday’s $75,000 Oak Tree Sprint at the Oak Tree at Pleasanton meet.

Coach Bob is by Bertrando, out of the Yankee Gentleman mare Gentleman’s Hope, was bred by Pam & Marty Wygod, is owned by Tom Gerstel, Reina Gonzalez, Keith and Jean Hembree, et al, and is trained by Reina Gonzalez. He has four wins in 32 starts, earnings of $211,002 and is making his first start since a fourth in the Feb. 22 Sensational Star.

Ourwestcoastghost is by Muqtarib, out of the In Excess mare Express Xcess, was bred by owners Ron Lang, Lillian Lang and D. Wayne Baker and is trained by Baker. He has six wins in 16 starts, earnings of $205,922 and is coming off a second in a May 26 allowance.

Ain’t No Other is by Old Topper, out of the Shadeed mare Miami Margie, was bred by owner Tommy Town Thoroughbreds and is trained by Jerry Hollendorfer. He has 10 wins in 35 starts, earnings of $572,095 and is coming off a fourth in the June 14 Albany Stakes.
