OCALA, Fla. (Mar. 18, 2021) – Five California-breds sold at this week’s Ocala Breeders’ Sale March Two-Year-Olds in Training Sale, led by an Asturn colt that brought $95,000.
The colt, out of the Tiznow mare Tisbury, was bred by Linda Madsen, consigned by Lucan Bloodstock and was purchased by Cary Bloodstock, agent for Intrepid Thoroughbreds.
A filly by first-year stallion Stanford sold for $85,000. Named Drizella, she is out of the Roayl Applause mare Tinderella, was bred by Magee-Wolfson, consigned by Havens Bloodstock and purchased by William Peeples.
Peeples also bought a filly by Grazen named Grazen’s Touch, out of Touch Gold mare Lavender Touch, bred by Gilman Racing and consigned by Havens Bloodstock. She cost $80,000.
A colt by Munnings sold for $65,000. He is out of the War Front mare Mobilize, was bred by Terry Lovingier, consigned by Wavertree Stables and purchased by Michael Maker.
A Champ Pegasus colt sold for $45,000 to Maker. He is out of Vale of York mare Little Rooster, was bred by Cicero Farms and consigned by Mayberry Farm.
