LEXINGTON, Ky. (Oct. 7, 2020) – California Kook is the lone California-bred entered in Saturday’s $500,000 Grade I Queen Elizabeth II Challenge Cup presented by Dixiana for 3-year-old fillies at Keeneland.
California Kook is by Boisterous, out of the Comic Strip mare Kukaluka, was bred by owners Wachtel Stable and Gary Barber and is trained by Peter Miller.
She has two wins in nine starts, earnings of $179,762 and is coming off a fourth in the Sept. 6 Del Mar Derby.
