Carleton F. Burke Memorial Library

The Carleton F. Burke Memorial Library, which contains thousands of equine-related books and one-of-a kind archival materials, is now located at the University Library at the California State Polytechnic University, Pomona (Cal Poly Pomona). Cal Poly Pomona is delighted to work with the California Thoroughbred Foundation to ensure that the collection is maintained and available to researchers.

The collection is currently being processed so that it will be available for public use. Any questions related to the collection can be sent to Devan Sexton at library@cpp.edu or 909-869-3085.

The California Thoroughbred Foundation

The California Thoroughbred Foundation is dedicated to the advancement of equine research and education. Since 1958 the Foundation has operated as a non-profit 501(c)3 corporation that can accept tax-deductible contributions. For more than five decades the CTF has sponsored numerous research and educational projects and awarded scholarships to veterinary students at U.C. Davis and Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona.
