WILMINGTON, Del. (June 20, 2022) – CTBA January Sale graduate Cashing Big Checks is the lone California-bred entered in Wednesday’s $50,000 Lewes Stakes for 3-year-old fillies at Delaware Park.
Cashing Big Checks is by Mr. Big, out of the Indian Charlie mare Palisadesprincess, was bred by George Krikorian, is owned by Troy Johnson and Jagger Inc. and is trained by Jamie Ness.
The $1,500 purchase at the CTBA January Sale has one win in four starts, earnings of $45,500 and is making her first start since a seventh in the Oct. 13 White Clay Creek Stakes. She broke her maiden winning the Blue Hen Stakes last Aug. 25.
