CYPRESS, Calif. (July 2, 2025) – Graded winner Chismosa is the lone California-bred entered to take on defending champion Sweet Azteca and double Grade I-winner Kopian in Saturday’s $200,000 Grade II Great Lady M. Stakes for fillies and mares at Los Alamitos.
Chismosa is by Clubhouse Ride, out of the Cat Dreams mare You Can Dream, was bred by owner Jaime Renella and is trained by Rafael DeLeon.
She has six wins in 24 starts, earnings of $600,250 and is coming off a second in the June 1 Desert Stormer. She was seventh in last year’s Great Lady M. and second in 2023.
