ARCADIA, Calif. (Oct. 2, 2024) – Graded winner Chismosa and fellow California-bred Irish Wahine are entered in Saturday’s $100,000 Grade III Chillingworth Stakes for fillies and mares at Santa Anita.
Irish Wahine is by Grazen, out of the Broken Vow mare Irish Winnie, was bred by Moger Inc. & Neary Racing, is owned by GMT Racing Stables and trained by Librado Barocio. She has 11 wins in 27 starts, earnings of $290,456 and is coming off a fourth in the Aug. 25 Rancho Bernardo.
Chismosa is by Clubhouse Ride, out of the Cat Dreams mare You Can Dream, was bred by owner Jaime Renella and trained by Rafael DeLeon. She has five wins in 20 starts, earnings of $544,250 and is coming off a second in the Aug. 25 Rancho Bernardo.
