ARCADIA, Calif. (May 28, 2025) – California-bred defending champion Chismosa faces three rivals in Sunday’s $100,000 Desert Stormer Stakes for fillies and mares at Santa Anita.
Chismosa, a graded stakes winner, is by Clubhouse Ride, out of the Cat Dreams mare You Can Dream, was bred by owner Jaime Renella and is trained by Rafael DeLeon.
She has six wins in 23 starts, earnings of $580,250 and is coming off an eighth in the May 17 Mizdirection Stakes.
