‘Chrome Coming Home in May

CYPRESS, Calif. (Apr. 16, 2016) — Dubai World Cup winner California Chrome, who is currently enjoying a bit of ‘R & R’ at Taylor Made Farm in Kentucky, will rejoin trainer Art Sherman’s stable in May.

The Daily Racing Form reports that there’s currently not a set date for the 5-year-old horse to ship back to California, but it looks as though it will be early in the month.

“I guess he’ll be coming back when the horses that run in the Kentucky Derby come back to California,” Sherman told the DRF.

Earlier this month, California Chrome underwent a physical exam by Dr. Larry Bramlage and everything checked out okay.

“They’ve sent me videos, and he looks good,” Sherman said. “He’s put back on the weight he lost. He looks to be enjoying the rest.
