ARCADIA, Calif. (Oct. 30, 2023) – California Bay is the lone California-bred entered in Saturday’s $250,000 Grade II Twilight Derby for 3-year-olds at Santa Anita.
California Bay is by California Chrome, out of the Dehere mare Tamarack Bay, was bred by owners Mr. & Mrs. Larry Williams and is trained by Jeff Mullins.
He has two win in five starts, earnings of $83,540 and is coming off an Oct. 9 optional claiming win.
