ALBANY, Calif. (May 11, 2015) – Hope’s Love, a full sister to Horse of the Year California Chrome, will not make her racing debut on Friday, despite being entered in a 2-year-old fillies maiden special weight race at Golden Gate.
Hope’s Love is by Lucky Pulpit, out of the Not For Love mare Love the Chase, was bred by owners Perry Martin and Steve Coburn and is trained by Steve Sherman.
Hope’s Love was listed as the 8-5 morning line favorite in the overflow field of 14 entered. She is coming off a bullet work out of 67 workers on May 3, going four furlongs in :47.
