SUNLAND PARK, N.M. (Feb. 15, 2026) – California-bred multiple stakes winner Clovisconnection added to his resume by winning Sunday’s $100,000 Bill Thomas Memorial Stakes at Sunland Park.
Clovisconnection is by Vronsky, out of the Perfect Mandate mare La Darling, was bred by William & Judy Hedrick, is owned by William Hedrick and trained by Justin Evans.
The 6-year-old gelding has 13 wins in 25 starts, earnings of $592,300 and was coming off a fourth in the Nov. 8 The Chosen Vron Stakes.
Clovisconnection ran the 6 1/2 furlongs in 1:14.91 and won by one length as the third choice in the wagering at odds of 7-2 in a field of five.
