DEL MAR, Calif. (Aug. 29, 2018) – California-bred stakes winners Cordiality and Cheekaboo are entered in Saturday’s $200,000 Grade II John C. Mabee Stakes for fillies and mares at Del Mar.
Cordiality is by Papa Clem, out of the Unusual Heat mare Warmth, was bred by Dr. Ed Allred, is owned by Drummond, Glatt, or Xitco and is trained by Mark Glatt. She has nine wins in 23 starts, earnings of $413,595 and is coming off a win in the Aug. 10 Solana Beach.
Cheekaboo is by Unusual Heat, out of the Souvenir Copy mare Sandy Cheeks, was bred by Madeline Auerbach, Richard Rosenberg & Barry Abrams, is owned by Alesia, Burns Racing or Ciaglia and is trained by Peter Eurton. She has three wins in 21 starts, earnings of $366,703 and is coming off a third in the Aug. 10 Solana Beach.
