PLEASANTON, Calif. (June 1, 2015) – A yearling full sister to Sunday stakes winner Deb’s Wildcard, the first stakes winner for Desert Code, will be offered at this summer’s Northern California Yearling and Horses of Racing Age Sale, to be held Aug. 11 at the Alameda County Fairgrounds.
The filly offered at the Northern California Yearling Sale is owned by Victoria Polzin and consigned by Stony Creek Farm.
Deb’s Wildcard, a graduate of the 2013 Northern California Yearling Sale, is the first stakes winner for California stallion Desert Code, out of the Demons Begone mare Deb’s Royal Flush, was bred by Victoria Polzin and Harris Farms, is owned by Robert Jones and Lloyd Mason and is trained by Mason.
She has four wins in nine starts, earnings of $113,924 and she won Sunday’s Seattle Handicap at Emerald Downs.
