ARCADIA, Calif. (Oct. 16, 2013) – A field of 10 California-breds, each with six-figure career earnings, is entered in Saturday’s $100,000 California Flag Handicap at Santa Anita for Golden State Series eligibles.

Tiz a Minister is by Ministers Wild Cat, out of the Cee’s Tizzy mare Tiz a Mistress, was bred by Dahlberg Farms, is owned by Sayjay Racing and trained by Paul Aguirre. He has three wins in 16 starts, earnings of $468,780 and is coming off a third in the Aug. 30 El Cajon.

A Toast to You is by Tribal Rule, out of the Apollo mare Whitewinesipper, was bred by Hidden Meadows Farm, is owned by Gary and Cecil Barber and is trained by Peter Miller. He has five wins in 19 starts, earnings of $292,872 and is coming off a fifth in an Oct. 5 claimer.

Circa’sgoldengear is by Golden Gear, out of the Nijinsky’s Table mare Circa, was bred by Earle Malley & Sue Hubbard, is owned by Blake Heap and Malley and is trained by Heap. He has four wins in 20 starts, earnings of $249,662 and is coming off a fifth in the Aug. 14 Green Flash.

Atta Boy Pete is by Perfect Mandate, out of the Bertrando mare Do It in Style, was bred by Joe Turner, is owned by Jerry Hollendorfer, Hagop Nakkashian and Team Green and is trained by Hollendorfer. He has five wins in 19 starts, earnings of $155,228 and is coming off a win in an Aug. 29 optional claimer.

Starspangled Heat is by Unusual Heat, out of the Runaway Groom mare Bel Air Belle, was bred by Madeline Auerbach, David Abrams & Vincenzo Loverso, is owned by M.
