CYPRESS, Calif. (Sept. 5, 2014) – Multiple stakes winner Doinghardtimeagain, eased in her last race, and fellow California-breds Tasty Treat and Wild in the Saddle are entered in Sunday’s $75,000 Orange County Stakes for fillies and mares at Los Alamitos.
Doinghardtimeagain is by Ministers Wild Cat, out of the Conquistador Cielo mare Silver Hawk Lady, was bred by owner Tommy Town Thoroughbreds and trained by Jerry Hollendorfer. She has six wins in 15 starts, earnings of $709,266 and is coming off being eased in the Aug. 17 Solana Beach.
Tasty Treat is by Roar, out of the American Chance mare Vividora, was bred by John Greely III, is owned by Cunningham Stable and trained by Michael Pender. She has seven wins in 18 starts, earnings of $335,874 and is making her first start since a fifth in the Oct. 12, 2013 California Distaff Handicap.
Wild in the Saddle is by Silic, out of the Wild Deputy mare Local Law, was bred by Dinesh Miniar, is owned by Brazeau Thoroughbred Farm and is trained by Richard Baltas. She has six wins in 30 starts, earnings of $171,958 and is coming off a fifth in the Aug. 17 Solana Beach.
Also entered in Tribal Gal, an Arizona-bred daughter of California stallion Tribal Rule, out of the Western Fame mare Famous Gal, was bred by owner John Pendergast and is trained by Kory Owens. She has seven wins in 18 starts, earnings of $256,505 and is coming off a win in the June 28 Oak Tree Distaff.
