ARCADIA, Calif. (Apr. 30, 2026) — Dream Quest, a California-bred daughter of Kentucky freshman stallion Drain the Clock, won the first 2-year-old race of the season at Santa Anita Thursday, a maiden special weight for statebred fillies.
Dream Quest is out of the Collected mare Dream Collector, was bred by Terry Lovingier and is owned by trainer Steve Knapp, Lovingier and John Moroney.
Dream Quest ran the 4 1/2 furlongs in :53.67 and won by a head as the 1-2 favorite in a field of seven.
Longshot Thirsty Caitlin was second and Potica was third.
