ARCADIA, Calif. (Dec. 21, 2016) – Multiple stakes winner Enola Gray is one of three California-breds entered in Sunday’s $300,000 Grade I La Brea Stakes for 3-year-old fillies at Santa Anita.
Enola Gray is by Grazen, out of the More Than Ready mare Unsung Heroine, was bred by owner Nick Alexander and is trained by Phil D’Amato. She has four wins in six starts, earnings of $323,100 and is coming off a second in the Nov. 13 Betty Grable.
Chao Chom is by Tizbud, out of the Siberian Summer mare Summer Jersey, was bred by ARCHA Racing, is owned by S Samdow and is trained by Gary Stute. She has two wins in seven starts, earnings of $146,600 and is coming off a win in the Nov. 13 Betty Grable.
Coniah is by Harlington, out of the Lord At War mare Pretti Woman, was bred by James and Tammy McKenney and is trained by Carla Gaines. She has three wins in 14 starts, earnings of $156,020 and is coming off a fourth in the Nov. 23 Zia Park Oaks.
