ARCADIA, Calif. (Oct. 7, 2023) — The Jockey Club Safety Net Foundation will honor trainer Carla Gaines at its Fashionable Fillies luncheon on Wednesday, Nov. 1, at 3:30 p.m. in the Chandelier Room at Santa Anita.
There will be cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, shopping and live music at the two-hour event, with tickets beginning at $125.

The Jockey Club Safety Net Foundation is a charitable trust founded in 1943 that provides financial relief and assistance to the individuals that are the backbone of the Thoroughbred racing industry: grooms, hotwalkers, night watchmen, jockeys and exercise riders, as well as office personnel, and farm and training center workers. For some individuals, The Jockey Club Safety Net Foundation is their sole means of support in times of medical or financial distress. Over the last 30 years, the foundation has disbursed more than $16 million in support.
