FRESNO, Calif. (Oct. 9, 2021) – Odds-on favorite Fashionably Fast, bred and co-owned by Harris Farms, won Saturday’s $75,000 Harris Farms Stakes at the Big Fresno Fair for the second time.
The son of Lucky Pulpit, out of the Forestry mare Fall Fashion, was bred by Harris Farms, Per Antonsen and John Nicoletti. It was his ninth win in 26 starts and increased his earnings to $683,891.
Fashionably Fast went off at odds of 2-5 and won by 1 ¼ lengths in a field of five Golden State Series eligibles, with Top Harbor second and Jamming Eddy third. He is trained by Dean Pederson.
Fashionably Fast won the race in 2019 and was second in 2018.
