FRESNO, Calif. (Oct. 18, 2018) – California freshman stallion Coach Bob was represented by his first winner on Sunday when First Coach won the sixth race at the Fresno Fair, a maiden special weight for 2-year-olds.
First Coach is out of the Tribal Rule mare Pahiatua, was bred by owners Jeff Kitchen, Boyd Arnold, Mark Beam, Tom Gerstel, et al and is trained by Reina Gonzalez.
First Coach ran the five furlongs in :58.07 and won by 6 ½ lengths as the even-money favorite.
