HALLANDALE, Fla. (Dec. 3, 2014) – Rebecca’s Surprise is the lone California-bred entered in Saturday’s $110,000 Glass Slipper Starter Stakes for fillies and mares at Gulfstream Park.
Rebecca’s Surprise is by Marino Marini, out of the Montbrook mare Violet Brook, was bred by Milt Policzer, Zuer Racing and Ray Jones, is owned by USA Thoroughbreds and trained by Kelly Breen.
She has 11 wins in 26 starts, earnings of $261,198 and is coming off a win in an Oct. 16 starter’s allowance.
