DEL MAR, Calif. (Aug. 31, 2014) – Fleet Treat Stakes winner Go West Marie and fellow California-bred stakes winner Top Kisser are entered in Wednesday’s $90,000 C.E.R.F. Stakes at Del Mar.
Top Kisser is by Old Topper, out of the Cherokee Run mare Cherokee Kiss, was bred by owner Tommy Town Thoroughbreds and is trained by Jerry Hollendorfer. She has six wins in 12 starts, earnings of $322,900 and is coming off a win in the July 19 California Governor’s Handicap Stakes.
Go West Marie is by Western Fame, out of the Swiss Yodeler mare Marie’s Rose, was bred by Summer Mayberry, is owned by Peter Redekop and trained by Eddie Truman. She has three wins in 11 starts, earnings of $228,280 and is coming off a win in the July 26 Fleet Treat Stakes.
