ALBANY, Calif. (Apr. 11, 2016) – Be a part of the California-bred Turf Extravaganza Day celebration at Golden Gate Fields on Sunday, May 1.
The feature events will be the $100,000 Campanile Stakes for Golden State Series eligible 3-year-old fillies and the $100,000 Silky Sullivan Stakes for Golden State Series eligible 3-year-olds. Both will be raced at one mile on turf.
California Thoroughbred Breeders Association members will be welcome at a hospitality area on the Players Patio from 1:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The CTBA member track pass will serve as complimentary admission to the hospitality area, where an appetizer buffet will be provided with a private cash bar. Members of the CTBA Board of Directors will be present for a meet-and-greet.
The Cal-bred Turf Extravaganza Day will be held on closing day of Golden Gate’s Turf Festival. First post for the day’s racing card is 2:15 p.m.
