Gun Runner’s Corporal to Stand at Dehesa

Dehesa Farms Press Release

SAN MIGUEL, Calif. (Oct. 29, 2024) – Corporal, purchased by Coolmore partners for $1.15 million, will be the first son of Gun Runner to stand in California next season at Dehesa Farms in San Miguel, formerly the location of Easterbrook Livestock.

Corporal, out of the multiple stakes-winning and graded-stakes placed Bluegrass Cat mare Kathballu, was trained by Brad Cox in a two-race career ended earlier this year by injury. The now 3-year-old was sold at the 2022 Keeneland September Yearling Sale.

Dehesa Farms, formerly Dahlberg Farms under the management of Easterbrook Livestock Management, is now owned and operated by Shane Easterbrook. Dehesa Farms is a full service horse farm, providing quality care for all aspects of raising equine athletes.
