SHELBYVILLE, Ind. (Aug. 31, 2019) – Stakes winner Irish Heatwave is the lone California-bred entered in Wednesday’s $200,000 Caesars Stakes for 3-year-olds at Indiana Grand.
Irish Heatwave is by Unusual Heat, out of the Broken Vow mare Irish Winnie, was bred by Moger Inc. & Neary Racing, is owned by Calumet Farm and is trained by J.K. Desormeaux.
He has three wins in 10 starts, earnings of $203,284 and is coming off a fourth in a July 18 optional claimer.
