COALINGA, Calif. (Feb. 7, 2017) – Harris Farms is pleased to announce the addition of Jeranimo to our 2017 stallion roster. The 11-year-old son of Congaree, out of Jera, by Jeblar won eight graded stakes over a six-year racing career and earned $1,525,364. Included in his stakes victories were the G1 Eddie Read stakes and G1 Shoemaker Mile. In addition, he captured the G2 San Gabriel Stakes three times, the last coming as an 8-year-old.
Jeranimo displayed explosive speed winning the Shoemaker Mile and his late-running style was impressive in the Eddie Read. Jeranimo is owned by the Jeranimo Partnership and will stand for $2,500 live foal, stand to nurse for the 2017 breeding season.
