ARCADIA, Calif. (Jan. 29, 2020) – King Abner is the lone California-bred entered in Saturday’s $200,000 Grade II San Pasqual Stakes at Santa Anita.
King Abner is by Hansen, out of the Salt Lake mare Margarita Salt, was bred by Golden Eagle Farm, is owned by Summit Racing, Ticket to Ride or Branch, et al, and is trained by Phil D’Amato.
He has six wins in 23 starts, earnings of $381,309 and is coming off a second in the Dec. 28 San Antonio Stakes.
