MADERA, Calif. (Sept. 10, 2014) – California stallion Lil Tyler passed away Wednesday due to the infirmities of old age, Madera Farm announced. He was 31.
The son of Halo was a multiple stakes winner on the track. As a sire, he had 16 foal crops with progeny earnings of nearly $9 million.
His top earner was Awesome Daze, winner of the California Cup Classic and $652,435 in earnings. He also sired stakes winners Super Strut, Mateo, Lil Seeker, Jack’s Wild and I’m a Lil Princess.
