ALBANY, Calif. (Dec. 3, 2014) – Lucky Forty Niner is the lone California-bred entered in Saturday’s $75,000 Gold Rush Stakes for 2-year-ods at Golden Gate.
Lucky Forty Niner is by Lucky J. H., out of the Forty Niner mare Miner’s Gal, was bred by Harris Farms, is owned by Mary Jo Bright and trained by Wendell McDaniel.
He has one win in 10 starts, earnings of $41,110 and is coming off a fifth in the Nov. 8 Golden Nugget.
