WINNIPEG, Manitoba (Sept. 14, 2025) – Magic Chrome is the lone California-bred entered in Tuesday’s $50,000 Manitoba Matron Stakes for fillies and mares at Assiniboia Downs.
Magic Chrome is by California Chrome, out of the Hard Spun mare Seaside Magic, was bred by California Chrome Syndicate, Harry K Keshian, Cheryl Keshian & Paul K Girdner, is owned by Kirk Sutherland and trained by Rick Wise.
She has five wins in 21 starts, earnings of $96,238 and is coming off a second in the Aug. 26 Miss Imperial Overnight Stakes.
