WINNIPEG, Manitoba (July 10, 2025) – Magic Tiger is the lone California-bred entered in Monday’s $50,000 R.J. Speers Memorial Stakes at Assiniboia Downs.
Magic Tiger is by Smiling Tiger, out of the Lucky Pulpit mare Funny Gal, was bred by Robert Heinz & Michelle Machado, is owned by Wind Dancer Stable and Meikle, Bill and is trained by Wendy Anderson.
He has 13 wins in 41 starts, earnings of $198,298 and is coming off an eighth in the June 24 Free Press. He was ninth in this race last year and won the race in 2023.
