WINNIPEG, Manitoba (Sept. 10, 2025) – Marking Broadway, the lone California-bred in the field, rallied past odds-on favorite Mighty Mikee to win Wednesday’s $50,000 Osiris Stakes for 2-year-old fillies at Assinaboia Downs.
Marking Broadway is by Marking, out of the Real Solution mare Lights on Broadway, was bred by Harry Bettis, Tosch Keshian and Cheryl Keshian and is owned by trainer Dewey Williams.
She has two wins in four starts, earnings of $46,909 and was coming off a second in the Aug. 19 Graduation Stakes at Assinaboia.
Marking Broadway ran the 5 1/2 furlongs in 1:07.18 and won by three-quarters of a length at odds of 7-1 in a field of five.
