PLEASANTON, Calif. (July 16, 2020) – Stakes winners Misirlu and Blue Diva, and fellow California-bred Princess Vivian, are entered in Saturday’s $50,000 California Governors’ Handicap for fillies and mares at Pleasanton.
Misirlu is by Slew’s Tiznow, out of the Mr. Greeley mare Grand Advice, was bred by Rancho San Miguel, is owned by Antone Metaxas and is trained by Steve Specht. She has three wins in five starts, earnings of $82,836 and is coming off a third in a May 31 optional claimer.
Stakes winner Princess Vivian is by Uh Oh Bango, out of the Macho Uno mare Seductive Charm, was bred by MNM Thoroughbreds, is owned by MNM Thoroughbreds, MacDonald, Marsh & Mendoza and is trained by Sergio Ledezma. She has four wins in eight starts, earnings of $136,314 and is coming off a fourth in the May 30 Camilla Urso.
Blue Diva is by Bluegrass Cat, out of the Quiet American mare Farmers Wife, was bred by BKB Stables, is owned by Frankly Speaking and trained by Isidro Tamayo. She has seven wins in 21 starts, earnings of $202,233 and is coming off a fourth in a June 28 allowance.
