DEL MAR, Calif. (July 16, 2025) – Graded-stakes placed Miso Phansy, never worse than second in six starts, is the lone California-bred entered in Saturday’s $200,000 Grade II San Clemente Handicap for 3-year-old fillies at Del Mar.
Miso Phansy is by Karakontie, out of the Souvenir Copy mare Sandy Cheeks, was bred by Ciaglia Racing, is owned by Ciaglia Racing and Robin Christensen and is trained by Leonard Powell.
She has two wins in six starts, earnings of $150,050 and is coming off a second by a nose in the May 18 Honeymoon Stakes.
